Role Description This is a Seasonal / full-time on-site role for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) at Evening Star Bookkeeping Svc, located in Schoharie, NY. The CPA/EA will be responsible for preparing Tax Returns (Federal & State), managing all aspects of tax preparation, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing financial guidance. The role requires collaboration with clients and other financial professionals to ensure accurate and effective financial management. Qualifications Proficiency in Financial Statements and Accounting skills Experience in Tax Preparation and Certified Public Accounting (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) Solid understanding of Finance concepts and practices Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and accuracy Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA or EA certification is a plus Experience in the bookkeeping in Outsourcing / BPO industry is required Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and other accounting software Compensation & Benefits Salary: (based on experience) Bonus: Annual performance-based bonus (510%) Professional Development: License fees, and continuing education covered Work-Life Balance: Flexible scheduling and hybrid work options
