We are looking to hire a Pre-Sales Engineer ( Lighting) / Estimator for Lighting Looking for someone who can join immediately ____________________________ A Pre-Sales Engineer is a technical professional who supports the sales team by demonstrating product capabilities, addressing customer needs, and providing technical expertise throughout the sales process Desired Candidate Profile Technical Expertise : Strong understanding of the company's products, solutions, and relevant technologies, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Interpersonal Skills : Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a customer-focused approach to problem-solving. Analytical Skills : Ability to assess customer needs and recommend optimal solutions based on technical feasibility and economic viability. Experience in Lighting Products, Lighting systems, lighting control or BMS / ELV is required Roll ____________________________ Key Responsibilities: ~ Prepare detailed lighting quotations and technical submittals based on project specifications and client requirements. ~ Analyse tender documents, drawings, and BOQs to develop accurate cost estimates. ~ Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical support during pre-sales and post-sales phases. ~ Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain pricing, product data, and lead times. ~ Assist in value engineering proposals to optimise cost and performance. ~ Maintain and update estimation tools, databases, and product libraries. ~ Support project handover documentation and coordinate with internal teams for smooth execution. ~ Respond to client inquiries and provide technical clarifications when needed. ____________________________ Requirements ~ Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Lighting Design, or a related field. ~ 3 to 5 years of experience in estimation and sales support within the lighting or electrical industry. ~ Strong understanding of lighting products, controls, and standards. ~ Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills. (Arabic will be a plus point) ~ Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organisational abilities. ~ Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. ~ Must have a luxury calculation expertise and related software operations. ~ Able to meet the PQ, tender documents, material submittal and shop drawings. ____________________________ If you’re someone who meets all the eligibility criteria and is genuinely interested in this role, please apply.
