The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in auditing entities operating in the financial services sector , particularly broker-dealers, forex trading platforms, and capital market participants . This role involves working with international clients, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards , and delivering high-quality audit outcomes in a fast-paced, regulated environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead and execute audits under IFRS for global clients in the brokerage and financial instruments space. Review and assess financial statements, disclosures, and internal controls. Identify and communicate accounting and auditing issues to clients and internal teams. Collaborate with cross-border teams and manage client expectations. Stay updated on changes in IFRS and regulatory frameworks relevant to financial markets. Prepare audit documentation in accordance with international standards and firm policies. Candidate Profile: 210 years of experience in IFRS audits, preferably with exposure to brokers, forex entities, or financial instruments. Strong understanding of IFRS 9, IFRS 7, IFRS 13, and other relevant standards. Experience working with Big 4 or mid-tier audit firms is a plus. Excellent communication and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple engagements. Preferred: Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice periods. Prior experience working with European clients or in cross-border audit engagements . Knowledge of MiFID II , ESMA regulations , or other European financial regulations is a bonus.
