Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for our Client, which is a reputed premium luxury resort in Jim Corbett, Ramnagar, Uttarakhand. The rold is to lead the culinary vision and daily operations of our fine‑dining restaurant, offering a curated menu that celebrates local ingredients, sustainable practices, and unforgettable dining experiences for guests immersed in nature. Oversee kitchen staff, inventory, cost control, and maintain the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and presentation. Key Responsibilities: - Design seasonal menus (Indian regional, international, farm‑to‑table, dietary‑friendly) that align with the resort’s eco‑ethos. - Manage full kitchen operations: prep, cooking, plating, and service standards. - Supervise a team of 20+ kitchen staff (chefs, sous chefs, stewards) – hiring, training, performance evaluation. - Control food cost (target ≤ 28 %), manage vendor relationships, and ensure optimal inventory turnover. - Implement HACCP, FSSAI, and safety protocols; maintain 5‑star hygiene certifications. - Collaborate with Guest Relations & Events to deliver bespoke dining experiences (private safaris, candle‑lit dinners, cultural nights). - Innovate and maintain brand consistency across all F&B outlets (restaurant, pool bar, in‑room dining). Required Skills & Qualifications: - Diploma/Degree in Culinary Arts (or proven equivalent experience). - 8+ years progressive culinary experience; 3+ years as Executive Chef in a luxury resort/hotel. - Proven track record of menu development, cost control (30‑35 % food cost), and team leadership. - Strong knowledge of sustainability, local sourcing, and wildlife‑friendly dining concepts. - Excellent communication skills (English, Hindi; additional regional language a plus). - Ability to thrive in a remote, nature‑focused environment with flexible hours.
