ETP/STP Operator (Effluent Treatment Plant / Sewage Treatment Plant)

Job Summary:

The ETP/STP Operator manages the daily operation and maintenance of effluent and sewage treatment systems, ensuring wastewater is treated in compliance with environmental standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor treatment plant equipment and processes.
• Perform regular inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance of machinery.
• Handle chemicals and ensure proper dosing for treatment.
• Collect samples and perform basic water quality tests.
• Maintain records and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
• Adhere to safety protocols in the workplace.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (vocational training preferred).
• 1-3 years of experience in wastewater treatment.
• Basic knowledge of water treatment processes and safety standards.
• Certification in wastewater treatment may be preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work in various environments and lift heavy objects.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position with shift work, including weekends and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
