ETL Tester

Key Responsibilities:  Understand and analyze ETL requirements, data mapping documents, and business rules.  Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans for ETL processes.  Perform data validation, source-to-target data mapping, and data integrity checks.  Write complex SQL queries for data verification and backend testing.  Conduct regression, integration, and system testing for ETL pipelines and data warehouse environments.  Work with BI tools to validate reports and dashboards if applicable.  Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and data engineers to ensure testing coverage and resolve issues.  Document defects, test results, and provide detailed bug reports and testing status. Required Skills and Experience:  4+ years of experience in ETL testing or data warehouse testing.  Strong proficiency in SQL for data validation and analysis.  Hands-on experience with ETL tools like Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or similar.  Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, star/snowflake schemas, and data modeling.  Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, TestRail).  Understanding of automation in data testing (a plus, e.g., Python, Selenium with databases).  Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Azure Data Factory) is a plus Job Type: Full-time Work Location: In person
