ETL /Data QA

As a Quality Assurance Engineer for data testing, your role will involve designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ETL/ELT data pipelines. You will be validating large volumes of data in data warehouses, particularly focusing on Snowflake environments. Your responsibilities will also include performing end-to-end data validation, source-to-target data mapping, regression testing, and identifying data quality issues to collaborate closely with data engineers and analysts for timely resolution. Automating data quality tests using SQL and QA automation frameworks, conducting root cause analysis of issues in ETL processes, and providing actionable recommendations will be crucial aspects of your role. Additionally, you will participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Your final responsibility will involve providing QA sign-off for data pipeline releases and ensuring delivery meets functional and non-functional requirements. Qualifications required for this role include: - Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance with a focus on data testing. - Strong experience in ETL/ELT testing and data warehousing concepts. - Proficiency in Snowflake and SQL for data validation and analysis. - Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.,
