ETL Automation Engineer

Position: ETL Automation Tester (Consultant level) Location: Pune We are looking for an ETL Automation tester who is self-motivated, creative and proactive, to work successfully in a fast-paced environment including multiple platforms and architectures, diverse technologies and Cloud environments. The individual will work closely with various stakeholders throughout the SDLC, executing automated test iterations, tracking & reporting test results, troubleshooting and coordinating the bug fixes. The individual should have a strong understanding of agile processes and the related Quality lifecycle and automation methodology. Responsibilities: - Design, Develop, Execute and analyze automation test scripts & test results using automation framework (Java/Python Selenium, cucumber) - Manual Testing when needed to complete the regression cycle. - Estimate test accurately and coordinate with team members for work activities. - Record test results and report and verify software bug fixes to accept automation criteria. - Coordinate with program and development management teams in product development lifecycle to conform end user product and quality requirements and shipment schedule. Required Skills: - Expertise in writing scripting languages like SQL is a must. - Knowledge of Derivatives financial domain is good to have. - Experienced in designing automated test scripts testing Operational/Relational/OLAP databases and data warehouses. - Hands-on experience in Database Testing and able to write complex SQL queries for both UI layer and data layer for data extraction, preparations and consumption modules. - Strong Analytical skills to understand complex business logic and calculations. - Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases. - Good communication skills. - Azure Certification would be preferred. Can make an exception for resources who may not be an expert in ETL but are very strong in database testing experience along with strong automation.
