Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Costing and Estimation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The primary role will involve determining the financial feasibility of engineering projects by preparing detailed cost estimates, analyzing project specifications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed within budget. Required Qualifications & Skills Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred) or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of proven experience in cost estimation, quantity surveying, or a similar role within the engineering/construction industry, preferably in the power or electrical sector. Technical Skills: Proficiency in cost estimation software and tools (e.g. MS Excel, AutoCAD, Primavera P6). Strong understanding of electrical systems, switchgear, and construction practices is an asset. Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and specifications. Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication, negotiation, and teamwork abilities. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
