Role Description This is a full-time on-site position for a Medical Billing Credentialing Specialist located in Kochi. The Specialist will be responsible for managing the payer credentialing process, ensuring compliance with insurance requirements, and handling denials effectively. Daily tasks include verifying insurance information, handling credentialing applications, monitoring claims status, collaborating with insurance providers, and working on revenue cycle improvements. Qualifications Strong knowledge of medical terminology and ICD-10 coding Experience managing denials and familiarity with claim submission processes Understanding of insurance protocols and experience working with Medicare Excellent communication and organizational skills to manage credentialing applications Attention to detail and the ability to analyze and resolve billing issues Proficient in relevant medical billing software and systems Prior experience in revenue cycle management or healthcare billing is a plus Bachelor’s degree or relevant certification in healthcare administration, medical billing, or a related field
