Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced and meticulous Senior Project Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 12-15 years of experience in the real estate development sector, with a strong focus on quality monitoring, quantity auditing, and project supervision. The Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of our projects from inception to completion, ensuring all work is executed to the highest standards, on time, and within budget. Key Responsibilities Project Supervision and Management: o Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects adhere to approved plans, specifications, and quality standards. o Coordinate with architects, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution. o Supervise junior engineers and on-site staff, providing guidance and technical support. o Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Quality Monitoring and Assurance: o Implement and manage a robust quality control program throughout all phases of the project. o Perform regular inspections and quality audits to ensure all materials and workmanship meet or exceed industry standards. o Document and address any non-conforming work, ensuring timely and effective corrective actions. o Maintain detailed records of all quality assurance activities, including inspection reports and test results. Quantity Auditing and Cost Control: o Conduct regular quantity audits to verify the materials used and work completed by contractors. o Review and approve contractor bills and payment requests based on audited quantities and project progress. o Monitor project costs and budgets, identifying potential cost overruns and recommending corrective measures. o Collaborate with the finance and procurement teams to manage project expenditures. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. 12-15 years of experience in project engineering, with a significant portion in the real estate development industry. Proven expertise in quality control and assurance, quantity surveying, and site supervision. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD). Skills and Competencies Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of civil engineering principles and construction practices. Attention to Detail: Meticulous in monitoring quality and auditing quantities.
