Key Responsibilities: Maintain and update accounting records and files Prepare and analyze financial reports Reconcile bank statements and manage general ledger Handle accounts payable and receivable Ensure timely tax filings and compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.) Process payroll and expense reimbursements Support in budgeting and forecasting activities Assist with audits and implement audit recommendations Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and vendors Use accounting software such as Tally / QuickBooks / Zoho / Excel
Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Management • Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, and supervising retail associates. • Provide coaching, feedback, and performance reviews to team members. • Motivate and lead the team to meet and exceed sales and customer service goals. • Assist in creating and managing staff schedules to ensure optimal floor coverage and manage labor costs. • Address and resolve staff issues, ensuring compliance with company policies. Store Operations & Sales • Support the Store Manager in driving the store's sales and profitability. • Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and bank deposits. • Monitor sales performance, analyze sales data, and suggest/implement strategies for improvement. • Ensure the store maintains high standards of cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising. • Collaborate with the Store Manager on planning and executing in-store promotions and marketing campaigns. Customer Service & Relations • Model and ensure the team delivers exceptional customer service at all times. • Promptly and professionally resolve complex customer complaints, concerns, and inquiries. • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to encourage loyalty and repeat business. Inventory & Loss Prevention • Assist with monitoring inventory levels, managing stock orders, and processing shipments. • Conduct regular stock audits and ensure inventory accuracy. • Implement and enforce loss prevention procedures to minimize shrinkage.
