As a System Administrator at ESMECH, you will play a crucial role in managing and troubleshooting complex applications such as Nutanix HCI, Firewall, LAN/WAN network, Linux Administration, Storage and Backup Management, and Vendor Management. Your responsibilities will include debugging and resolving escalated issues, proactively managing data center operations, providing technical leadership to SRE teams, and collaborating with technology partners to enhance our ecosystem. You will be expected to possess a deep understanding of Linux, Networking, Server Management, Storage and Backup Management, IT Security (Firewall, CCTV), and Incident Management. Your role will involve actively seeking out and resolving issues affecting end users, contributing to knowledge base articles, and participating in ONCALL and support case deflection activities. Additionally, you will lead conference calls to ensure timely issue resolution and provide hands-on technical support to Surveillance Cell staff. To excel in this role, you should have 3 to 5+ years of experience in virtualization (preferably Nutanix HCI), Layer 2/3 networking, Linux systems administration, and storage analysis. A degree in Computer Science or equivalent, combined with strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for learning and innovation, will be essential for success in this position.
