Job Description

Job Summary

Must possess expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) architecture design, implementation, administration, and empower team of support engineers to execute support task
Design, deploy, and manage OCI services including Compute, Networking, Storage, Load Balancers, Identity & Access Management (IAM), Security Zones, and Monitoring services.
Perform OCI infrastructure assessments and recommend cloud adoption, migration, and optimization strategies.
Configure and Manage Linux and Windows server environments hosted on OCI for ERP workloads, ensuring performance, availability, scalability, and security.
Collaborate with application, database, security, and network teams to design and implement cloud solutions that align with business requirements.
Investigate and provide superior technical guidance in resolving infrastructure, operating system, networking, and cloud-related issues and provide timely resolutions.
Strategize, design and Implement high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity solutions across OCI environments (should be well versed with implementing OCI native services such as FSDR)
Hands-on experience with OCI based infrastructure upgrades, patching activities, system hardening, and cloud governance initiatives.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, operational procedures, and deployment guides.
Monitor cloud resource utilization and proactively identify opportunities for cost optimization and performance improvements. Should be well versed with OCI native Observability management solutions.
Jointly drive migration projects involving on-premises or other hyperscalers to OCI cloud transformation.
Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and best practices by aligning and leveraging OCI native security solutions.

Should have good hands-on knowledge in implementing Hub and Spoke VCN architecture and awareness of network security solutions like OCI Palo Alto NGFW.

Nice to have experience with scripting and automation tools such as Shell Scripting, PowerShell, Terraform, or Ansible.

Key Responsibilities

1. To administer ERP in production environment
2. To monitor occurrences of new software releases, support packs and kernel upgrades and how these affect the application and users. 3. To manage database optimization, back-up and recovery 4. To perform troubleshooting at the ERP and database level 5. To train and transfer knowledge to the team members
