About the position: Ergodot is looking for experienced worklife consultants who are capable and willing to showcase their influencing interpersonal abilities & design skills. As a worklife consultant, you will act as a coach. Someone, who is a good listener & a good orator with exceptional knowledge about the design concepts around residential and workplace ergonomics. You must possess strong communication skills & ability to guide / empower / educate the clients to make an informed decision. You will be responsible for end to end handling of leads / inquiries right from lead generation to the end of the business cycle. You must possess a strong ability to generate inquiries & convert them to sales & contribute to the top line & bottom line of the company. The job combines the efficient and effective manner of understanding the clients requirements & delivering the most appropriate solution with the design abilities. The role will provide you with the opportunity to work and grow in a dynamic organization and evolve as an enterprising person of a passionate team. This is a high-performance front-line sales position focused on helping customers achieve their business goals through the application of Herman Miller and its collective brands residential and workplace insights & your design abilities. Contributes to corporate goals by leveraging the influencers, customer network to pursue and close profitable sales initiatives. The person must have demonstrated outstanding sales ability and has a sustained record of sales achievement. Requires complete knowledge of the organization's policies, products and services. Responsible for the more complex products or product lines and operates from broad objectives with virtually no direct supervision. Must be capable of managing multiple accounts. May have special assignments that transcend territory boundaries. Primary Responsibilities: Understand the customer's organizational culture and their work procedures. Take an enterprise approach in understanding the client and developing solutions. Must also possess strong design acumen to be able to understand the residential interior and outdoor furniture / furnishing requirements of designers and clients for their residential projects and propose suitable products from the Herman Miller and its collective portfolio along with other brands represented by us. Business Development - Engagement with top interior designers and Architects, Project Management Consultants, Corporates. Developing and maintaining contact with top decision makers at key clients, organizing and leading pursuit teams, participating and leading aspects of the proposal development process. Maintain contact with client personnel to identify future projects and enhance overall client relations to assure opportunities to secure work Preparation of proposals, bids, sales product quotations and business presentations. Mockup and creating Brand experience for Prospects Mapping of new market segments Database building & management, business opportunity analysis, lead generation Strong technical & commercial knowledge on own products Gather key information about potential projects, understanding the design requirements and translating the same into an aesthetically and functionally smart design solution. Study and apply knowledge of the company's products to create visually rich and informative presentations for prospective clients. Advise clients on interior design factors such as space planning, layout and utilization of furnishings or equipment, and color coordination. Seek feedback on the product proposition & quotation being submitted so as to align our overall proposal with the client’s aesthetic & commercial requirements. Coordinate with site supervisor and/or project manager at various stages so as to ensure the final design and material procured is in line with actual site condition. Record, Review and Report all work on a bi-weekly/weekly basis. Proactively learn the diversified solutions offered by the company. Actively participate in client meetings & meetings with architects, interior designers & other key stakeholders from time to time. Handle the walk-in clients Personal Development: Creates and pursues continuous achievement of personal development plan goals. Acts as a resourceful support for other team members.
