Role & responsibilities

• Execute equity and derivatives trades on behalf of clients while maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
• Provide client-focused service by responding promptly to client inquiries and addressing concerns related to trading.
• Monitor market trends, analyze data, and stay informed about market news and events that may affect equity and derivatives trading.
• Maintain awareness of regulatory requirements and ensure strict adherence to trading rules and guidelines.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of trading strategies, making adjustments as necessary to maximize profitability.
• Proactively identify and assess market risks, ensuring appropriate risk management practices are implemented.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their investment goals and providing personalized trading recommendations.
• Keep up-to-date records of all trading activities, preparing reports as necessary for internal and external stakeholders.
• Stay updated with relevant industry trends, new products, and changes in market regulations through continuous learning and professional development.

Preferred candidate profile

• Proficiency in trading platforms i.e. CTCL (Trading Terminal).
• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of equity and derivatives products, trading strategies, and market dynamics.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex market data and make informed trading decisions.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.
• Detail-oriented and capable of working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and manage priorities effectively.
• Professional certifications such as NISM Equity Derivatives Certification and NSE Certified Market Professional will be an added advantage.
• Sound understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance procedures related to equity and derivatives trading.
