Job Description

Role & responsibilities Execute equity and derivatives trades on behalf of clients while maintaining accuracy and timeliness. Provide client-focused service by responding promptly to client inquiries and addressing concerns related to trading. Monitor market trends, analyze data, and stay informed about market news and events that may affect equity and derivatives trading. Maintain awareness of regulatory requirements and ensure strict adherence to trading rules and guidelines. Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of trading strategies, making adjustments as necessary to maximize profitability. Proactively identify and assess market risks, ensuring appropriate risk management practices are implemented. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their investment goals and providing personalized trading recommendations. Keep up-to-date records of all trading activities, preparing reports as necessary for internal and external stakeholders. Stay updated with relevant industry trends, new products, and changes in market regulations through continuous learning and professional development. Preferred candidate profile Proficiency in trading platforms i.e. CTCL (Trading Terminal). Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field. In-depth knowledge of equity and derivatives products, trading strategies, and market dynamics. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex market data and make informed trading decisions. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues. Detail-oriented and capable of working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and manage priorities effectively. Professional certifications such as NISM Equity Derivatives Certification and NSE Certified Market Professional will be an added advantage. Sound understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance procedures related to equity and derivatives trading.
