Equity and Derivative- Quant Modelling VP

As a Quant Model Risk Associate/VP in the Interest Rates team within the Model Risk Governance and Review Group, your role involves assessing and mitigating model risk associated with complex models used for valuation, risk measurement, capital calculation, and decision-making. You will have the opportunity to work across various business areas, collaborate with model developers and users, and contribute to model reviews and performance evaluations. Your key responsibilities include: - Analyzing the conceptual soundness of pricing models, engines, and reserve methodologies - Providing guidance on model usage and serving as the primary contact for new models and changes - Developing alternative model benchmarks, designing performance metrics, and comparing model outcomes - Collaborating with model developers, Risk and Valuation Control Groups, and offering guidance on model risk - Regularly evaluating model performance - Managing and mentoring junior team members To qualify for this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills: - Strong foundation in probability theory, stochastic processes, statistics, partial differential equations, and numerical analysis - MSc, PhD, or equivalent in a quantitative discipline - Inquisitive nature with the ability to ask pertinent questions and escalate issues - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Good understanding of option pricing theory and quantitative models for pricing and hedging derivatives - Proficiency in coding, such as C/C++ or Python - 3+ years of experience in a FO or model risk quantitative role While not mandatory, the following skills and experience are preferred: - Experience with interest rates derivatives If you are enthusiastic about joining our team and meet the minimum requirements outlined above, we encourage you to apply for this role.,
