As the Piping Engineering Team Lead, your role involves leading the team in planning, designing, and executing piping systems for Super Critical Boiler design projects. Your responsibilities include: - Ensuring compliance with project requirements, industry codes (such as ASME, API, ANSI), and safety standards. - Managing resource allocation, workload distribution, and department budgeting. - Providing technical guidance to resolve site technical engineering issues. - Reviewing and approving piping layouts, isometrics, material specifications, and stress analysis reports. - Coordinating with other engineering disciplines, procurement, and construction teams. - Developing and implementing department procedures, standards, and design tools. - Mentoring and training a team of Engineers and Designers to promote professional growth. - Supporting business development by providing technical input for proposals and client meetings. - Monitoring project progress, performance metrics, and deliverables to ensure timelines and quality standards are met. Required Qualifications: - Strong knowledge of piping materials, layout design, stress analysis, and 3D modeling tools (e.g., SP3D, SPR, CAESAR II). - Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Experience working in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) environments. - Familiarity with international codes and standards. - Team leadership and mentoring experience. - Project and resource management skills. - Interdisciplinary coordination abilities. - Strategic planning and innovation mindset.
