Environmental Engineer

Job Profile

• Conducting Environmental Impact Assessment Studies (EIA Complete Process) as a part of Environmental Clearance Process (Preparation of EIA Reports for Cat-A and Cat-B Projects)
• Preparation of Project Report for Tearms of Reference Application (TOR Applications). Technical Calculations of Water Consumption, Waste Water Generation, fuel Req., Air Emission flue gas and Process Gas, Chemical Storage Req. and its Safety etc
• Preparation of B2 EC Applications From-1, From-1A and Conceptual Plan for Building Construction Projects and Area Development Township Projects
• Preparation of Environment Management Plan (EMP)
• Conducting Site Visit and Field Study During EIA Studies
• Understand, monitoring and analysis of baseline monitoring data (ambient air, stack, soil, ground water, surface water, noise and work zone)
• Attending and Co-ordinating Public Hearing
• Attending and Co-ordinating TOR/EC Presentation in front of SEAC / EAC
• Preparation of NABET Accreditation Applications, Handling QMS Related Work.
• Operating Impact assessment Softwares like Aloha, Aer mode View etc
• Conducting Carbon foot print and life cycle Assessment Studies.

Qualifications / Criteria

• Bachelors or Masters degree in chemical, Environmental Engineering, Environment science or related field
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in environmental engineering or related field
• Experience in conducting environmental impact assessments (EIAs)
• Preferred FAE in WP / SHW / AQ-AP / EB already NABET Accredited
• preferred EIA Coordinator (EC) in 5 (f) /21, 5 (b)/17 or any other
• Should know conceptual understanding of EIA Requirements, process and outcome
• Understand, monitoring and analysis of baseline monitoring data (ambient air, stack, soil, ground water, surface water, noise and work zone)
• Knowledge of applicable Rules, Acts, Notifications and Regulations Governing Environmental Clearance Process
• Leadership quality in planning, selecting and guiding EIA Team
• Experience in environmental compliance and management
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Aer mode View (Air Modelling Software) and other related software
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in cross- functional teams
• Experience in providing technical expertise to support environmental compliance, sustainability, and management projects
• Knowledge of environmental remediation technologies and practices
• Experience in design of ETP / STP water and wastewater treatment systems is preferred.
