Role & responsibilities: Responsible for successful delivery of Tier 2 operational support and consultation for areas of expertise Responsible for incident queue review and analysis of Tier 1 support tickets Adept at determining requirements by interviewing business users, reviewing documentation and facilitating working sessions Provide functional specification (MD50) to customize Oracle functionality to satisfy business requirements and business process design. Perform functional tests to ensure configuration meets the Business requirements. Knowledgeable about the Oracle applications functionality, tools, templates and methods and able to setup the system to meet the desired business process and requirements Support all Oracle Applications patching, upgrades and maintenance activities by testing and troubleshooting functional issues. Ability to think logically in solving problems and to present recommendations in a clear and concise form as part of the ongoing Customer Support Work closely with Oracle support and raise service request as and when required for business critical issues. Should be willing to work in Shifts Preferred candidate profile Bachelor's/Masters degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent related IT experience. Resource should have 8 to 12 years of Oracle EBS Functional experience. Should have at least 2 full life cycle implementations experience. Expertise in Finance modules GL, AR, AP, FA, CE and iEXP Knowledge in SQL queries. Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Worked in EBS Production support (Incidents, Enhancements and Problem Tickets management) adhering to critical SLAs. Should have knowledge in Month end closure and SOX activities. Should have 3rd Party integration knowledge with Oracle. Should have knowledge of ITIL processes.
