Role & responsibilities Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC) Develop and implement comprehensive QA/QC plans and procedures specific to faade projects. Ensure materials, fabrication processes, and installation comply with relevant codes, standards, and project requirements. Conduct audits, inspections, and tests to verify quality at all stagesdesign, production, and installation. Oversee performance testing, including water penetration, wind resistance, thermal performance, and structural load tests. Address and resolve non-conformance reports (NCRs) by recommending corrective and preventive actions. Construction Administration Act as the key liaison between design, construction, and quality teams to ensure the design intent is maintained throughout construction. Review and approve shop drawings, mock-ups, material samples, and method statements for faade systems. Conduct regular site visits to monitor installation progress and address technical issues. Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve on-site challenges related to faade construction. Maintain a log of construction progress, variations, and deviations for accurate documentation. Team Leadership & Coordination Manage and guide a team of QA/QC engineers, inspectors, and construction administrators. Provide technical training to the team on faade systems, quality protocols, and construction practices. Coordinate with design consultants, project managers, and client representatives to ensure quality and schedule alignment. Documentation & Reporting Maintain thorough documentation of QA/QC processes, inspection reports, test results, and meeting minutes. Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports to stakeholders, highlighting quality metrics, construction progress, and any areas of concern. Ensure all documentation is in line with contractual and regulatory requirements. Compliance & Standards Ensure adherence to local and international standards, such as ASTM, EN, AAMA, and ISO. Stay updated on industry best practices and innovations in faade design, construction, and materials.
