Job Description

Job Title: ENT Doctor (Otolaryngologist)Department: ENT (Ear, Nose & Throat)Reports To: Medical Director / Hospital AdministratorJob Summary:

The ENT Doctor is responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing conditions related to the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck. The role involves both outpatient consultation and inpatient care, including performing surgeries and procedures, patient counseling, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Consultation:
  • Conduct OPD consultations for patients with ENT-related symptoms.
  • Examine patients using appropriate diagnostic tools (otoscopes, endoscopy, audiometry, etc.).
  • Prescribe medications, recommend lifestyle changes, and advise further diagnostic tests when required.
  • Surgical & Procedural Care:
  • Perform surgeries and minor procedures related to ENT, such as tonsillectomy, septoplasty, FESS, ear surgeries, etc.
  • Handle emergencies related to ENT such as epistaxis, airway obstruction, foreign body removal, etc.
  • Patient Management:
  • Monitor post-operative patients and provide necessary follow-up care.
  • Counsel patients and families about treatment plans, recovery, and surgical outcomes.
  • Interdepartmental Coordination:
  • Work closely with anesthetists, radiologists, audiologists, and nursing teams.
  • Coordinate with other departments for multi-specialty cases as required.
  • Record Keeping & Compliance:
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
  • Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, medical ethics, and safety guidelines.
  • Education & Training:
  • Guide junior doctors, interns, and nursing staff in ENT care and procedures.
  • Participate in medical camps, awareness drives, and CMEs when required.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • MBBS with MS/DNB in ENT from a recognized institution.
  • Valid medical registration/license.
  • 2+ years of post-PG experience in ENT outpatient and surgical care preferred.
  • Strong diagnostic, surgical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹34,718.64 - ₹68,677.81 per month
