Ltd. is building next-generation systems for communication automation, secure data processing, and intelligent workflow management. We are hiring a Senior Backend Developer to architect and scale backend foundations for a high-impact internal product. This is a high-ownership role working directly with the founding team. Role Overview We need a backend engineer skilled in scalable architectures, API/web hook integrations, automation workflows, data pipelines, and rule-based validation. You will be the primary backend owner for a core system. Key Responsibilities Backend Architecture Build scalable backend services, APIs, and worker modules Design clean, maintainable system structures Integrations & Automation Integrate external APIs/webhooks Build automation flows, queues, triggers, and background jobs Ensure secure inbound/outbound data handling Content Processing Develop rule-based filtering and validation logic Build sanitization and classification layers Work with LLM/AI APIs (preferred) Security & Reliability Implement auth, validation, throttling, and rate limits Set up logging, monitoring, and fault-handling Ensure stability under high load Database Design optimized schemas Manage storage and improve query performance Collaboration Work closely with founders and product leads Guide junior developers when needed Own architecture, quality, and releases Required Technical Skills Node.js or Python API/Web hook integrations Backend architecture & system design Regex/pattern matching Queues: Redis, RabbitvMQ SQL/No SQL: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB Security Skills Validation and authorization Preventing misuse/spam Secure data flow design Bonus Skills LLMs/AI (OpenAI, Claude) Automation or communication systems Basic DevOps knowledge Soft Skills Ownership, accountability Strong communication Independent problem-solver Comfortable with fast-paced work Why Join Us?
