Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced English teacher to join our team, teaching IGCSE curriculum to students. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess student progress, and contribute to the school's academic community. Responsibilities:
Plan and teach IGCSE English Language and Literature courses
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, incorporating technology and innovative teaching methods
Assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support
Mentor students, guiding them towards academic success
Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and share best practices
Participate in departmental meetings, parent
teacher conferences, and school events Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in English Literature/Language or related field
IGCSE teaching experience
Strong knowledge of IGCSE curriculum and assessment procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications: -

Master's degree in English or Education- Experience with online learning platforms- Teaching certification (e g, PGCE, CELTA)
