Job Description

Primary English Teacher

Location: Alpha International School Sembakkam

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the
Cambridge curriculum
for Grades IIIV
Foster a love for the English language through interactive and creative teaching methods
Prepare, assign, and evaluate assignments, projects, and assessments
Maintain records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents
Collaborate with colleagues to plan events, activities, and academic improvements
Create a positive and disciplined classroom environment

Candidate Requirements:

Bachelors / Masters degree with
B.Ed.
(English specialization preferred
Minimum
2 years experience
teaching in Cambridge or International Schools
Strong command of English spoken and written
Energetic, patient, and child-friendly teaching approach
Proficiency in using technology for teaching and assessments
