Engineer/Senior Engineer, Roads

You are invited to bring your strong knowledge and experience in Roads/Highways design and knowledge in Openroads into play as you will be responsible to provide Basic and Detail Engineering and Basic Drafting support to technically challenging projects. Your role will involve creating 2D drawings and 3D models, ensuring the technical quality of your work while focusing on compliance with project objectives and quality standards. To excel in this position, it is essential to have a B.Tech in Civil Engineering. As a Senior Engineer - Roads at Ramboll, you will be joining our REC department, which is a world-class, innovation-driven engineering design center situated in our India head office in Gurgaon. Within this role, your key responsibilities will include performing basic and detail Geometric Design of Roads, 3D modeling, 2D drawing production, QA/QC activities, analyzing, learning, documenting, and reporting. Additionally, you will collaborate within a team environment, manage a small team of Jr Engineers and CAD Technicians, and be proficient in software tools such as Navisworks/Infraworks and BIM competence. The qualifications we seek for this position include a BE/B. Tech degree in Civil Engineering from a reputable institution, with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience. Sound knowledge of Geometric Design of Roads, familiarity with Dannish Codes, and expertise in Open Roads software are necessary. Proficiency in software tools like AutoCAD/Microstation and good communication skills are also essential. Exposure to an International Work environment and a good command of professional English language skills (written and verbal) are required.
