Engineering Intern - Water Resources

As a Water Resources Engineer at Walter P Moore, you will have the exciting opportunity to contribute to challenging projects in the field of water resources engineering. Your technical expertise, combined with strong communication skills, will play a crucial role in the successful completion of various assignments. **Key Responsibilities:** - Possess a solid technical background and demonstrate proficiency in both written and verbal communication. - Apply your understanding of basic hydrologic and hydraulic principles to effectively address project requirements. - Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes. - Prior experience in civil site development or drainage study projects would be advantageous. - Preferred experience with software such as HEC-RAS (1D/2D), HEC-HMS, SWMM5, and/or ArcGIS. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's degree preferred) with a focus on hydrology, hydraulics, water resources, or related fields. - Enrolled or completed university-level coursework in hydrology and/or hydraulics. - Strong written communication skills and technical writing abilities. - Excellent verbal communication skills.
