A leading Talent Acquisition Company in Saudi Arabia is currently hiring a Specialist for the Load Dispatch Center (LDC) SCADA in Saudi Arabia to join a dynamic team in the energy sector. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient monitoring and control of power systems, contributing to reliable energy distribution across the region. As a Specialist in the Load Dispatch Center, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems. Your expertise will be essential in optimizing the operational efficiency and reliability of electrical power supply. Key Responsibilities Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities on all LDC system applications software, operating systems and hardware. Carry out system administration activities on all LDC systems. Use real-time data monitoring techniques, data historian management, and data visualization tools to effectively extract, analyze, and present critical system information. Monitor and attend all system alarms and events generated from Spectrum Power TG EMS and HIS systems based on their priorities and in coordination with LDC power operations. Provide technical assistance to LDC power operation on failures by troubleshooting, generating reports and resolving failures that occur in the EMS/HIS systems and their subsystems. Perform Oracle database administration, analysis and performance optimization utilizing indexes and dynamic tables. Develop Oracle forms and reports and extract the required data for operation and development as business needs. Perform PL/SQL scripting, monitor database conditions, proactively rebuild indexes, and perform routine maintenance tasks. Manage WebLogic server domains, clusters, deployments, and monitor or tune WebLogic server performance. Requirements Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. A minimum of 8 years of experience working with SCADA systems in a utility environment. 8 years field experience with major utility organizations or SCADA system manufacturers. Experience in Energy Management System and Historical Information Systems. Experience in Spectrum Power TG EMS software applications. Experience in Linux operating systems. Experience with Linux command-line tools, scripting, and automation. Professional Certification in Oracle administration and development tools. Professional Certification in Oracle database. Professional Certification in forms and reports. Professional Certification in PL/SQL, application server, and web logic server.
