Engineering Associate - HVAC

As a Maintenance Technician at JW Marriott Hotel New Delhi Aerocity, your role involves responding to and attending to guest repair requests, communicating with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues, and performing preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen and mechanical room equipment. Your responsibilities will include: - Visually inspecting tools, equipment, or machines - Carrying equipment (e.g., tools, radio) - Identifying, locating, and operating all shut-off valves for equipment and all utility shut-offs for buildings - Maintaining maintenance inventory and requisitioning parts and supplies as needed - Communicating each day's activities and problems to other shifts using approved communication programs and standards - Displaying basic knowledge or ability to acquire knowledge in areas such as air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, kitchen equipment, and energy conservation - Performing surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood trim repair, light bulb and A/C filter replacement, and thorough cleanup of the painting or repair area - Testing, troubleshooting, and performing basic repairs on various equipment and components - Using the Lockout/Tagout system before performing any maintenance work - Performing repairs on interior and exterior landscaping as well as external landscaping sprinklers - Displaying basic computer skills including inputting air handler schedules and making temperature changes In addition to the above responsibilities, you will be expected to adhere to all company and safety policies and procedures, report any maintenance problems or safety hazards, and complete safety training and certifications. You should ensure that your uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Your interactions with guests should reflect the company's standards of service excellence, and you should work collaboratively with your team to achieve common goals.
