The readiness of specs for efficient production of all new products, aligning with food safety and quality standards. Conduct regular internal audits & GMP inspections to ensure compliance with food safety and quality protocols. Supervise laboratory testing of raw materials, semi-finished, and finished goods- Chemical. Develop and validate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for QC tests. Oversee the implementation & adherence to process controls & product standards, Manage online non-conformance issues, including root cause analysis and corrective actions. Conduct training sessions for staff on food safety, quality standards, and hygiene practices as per defined training calendar & overview the implementation. Promote a culture of quality awareness among employees Perform the quality testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products. Perform and/or supervise regular sensory analysis and chemical tests on products to monitor their safety, quality, and shelf life. Track product defects or deviations and take corrective actions to address these issues. Maintain detailed records of quality checks, audits, and certifications. FRESHERS ARE WELCOME The Production Executive will oversee daily operations on the production floor, ensuring that frozen food products are manufactured efficiently, safely, and in compliance with quality and regulatory standards. This role requires hands-on supervision of processes, workforce coordination, and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) while meeting production targets. Role & responsibilities Production Operations Plan, monitor, and execute daily production schedules to meet output and quality targets. Supervise production staff and assign tasks to ensure smooth workflow. Oversee food processing, freezing, and packaging operations according to SOPs. Monitor machine performance, minimize downtime, and coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs. Quality & Compliance Ensure compliance with HACCP, FSSAI, ISO, and other food safety standards. Conduct in-process quality checks to maintain consistency in product quality. Ensure proper sanitation and hygiene practices are followed on the production floor. Maintain accurate production and quality control records. People Management Train, guide, and motivate shop floor workers and machine operators. Monitor attendance, discipline, and performance of production staff. Enforce safety protocols and promote a culture of safe working practices. Inventory & Cost Control Monitor raw material usage and minimize wastage. Coordinate with stores and procurement for timely availability of materials. Track production costs and assist in optimizing efficiency. Reporting & Documentation Prepare daily/weekly/monthly production reports for management. Maintain records of output, downtime, wastage, and manpower utilization. Support audits (internal, external, regulatory) with relevant documentation. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors degree/Diploma in Food Technology, Food Science, Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, or related field. Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety regulations. Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in cold storage/processing environments. Good communication and reporting skills.
