Engineer, TSG Information Security, Architecture and Engineering

You are a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Security Engineer being sought to join the team, with a focus on Cloud-Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP) technologies. Your role will involve deep expertise in scaled virtual systems and security technologies, aiming to maintain and enhance the application security posture through proactive operational management, effective communication, and continuous learning. Your primary responsibility will be the Operations and Maintenance of Systems and Security Technologies (80%): - Operational Expertise: Collaborate with senior TSG staff to maintain core business security technologies and their integrations, enhancing scale through secure automation. - Capability Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancing existing capabilities, communicating process and product implementation plans effectively. - Operational Integrity: Maintain CNAPP and related tool sets operational integrity, ensuring up-to-date and optimized configurations, and escalating issues appropriately. - Risk and Threat Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of risks and threats, suggesting and implementing potential remediations. Additionally, you will be involved in Communications, Leadership, and Teaming (20%): - Business Understanding: Gather and incorporate an understanding of business-relevant factors impacted by security toolsets. - Security Advocacy: Promote security awareness among stakeholders and best practices throughout the organization. - Communications: Draft accurate and clear communications for technical and business audiences as necessary. - Collaboration: Engage in productive communication and relationship building with other security and software development teams. - Continuous Learning: Stay current with evolving risks and new security capabilities through ongoing professional development. - Support and Coverage: Provide support and coverage during peak times or staff absences to ensure continuous protection and operational efficiency. Your Experience and Skills should include: - Information Security Technologies: Experience with a broad range of relevant security technologies like Firewalls, IPS, IDS, SIEM, WAF, etc. - Cloud Security: Proficiency in cloud deployments and relevant security architectures and frameworks. - Security Automation: Skills in automating Information Security controls to alert and remediate as appropriate. - Threat Mitigation: Familiarity with common security threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies. Qualifications required for this role are: - Bachelors degree with 3+ years of relevant experience. - Relevant certifications like CISSP, CCSP, Cloud+, AWS, Azure certifications or their equivalents. - Proven experience in a similar role focusing on Cloud security technologies. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.,
