Engineer - Traffic & Transport Planning

You will be working as an Engineer specializing in Traffic & Transport planning in the Transportation department. Your role will involve the following responsibilities and skillsets: - Analyzing data and statistics related to traffic survey. - Studying the impact and efficiency of operational plans and the Transportation Master Plan. - Conducting Transportation Demand Modeling including OD analysis, estimation of growth rates, network assignment, and forecasting traffic flows. - Modeling changes in travel demand caused by changes in infrastructure, land use, policy, demography, etc. - Evaluating the consequences of major infrastructure projects. - Calibration and validation of traffic models. - Analyzing accessibility. - Conducting traffic demand forecasting and capacity analysis. - Performing Demand Analysis for parking. - Familiarity with different international codes for Trip and Parking calculation. - Conducting traffic operations analysis. - Performing Junction Assessment using the latest versions of SIDRA, Synchro, HCS, and TRANSYT-7F. - Utilizing Transport Planning Software Packages such as VISUM, Trans CAD, EMME 3, CUBE, and SATURN. - Preparation of microscopic simulation models using PTV VISSIM. - Preparation of traffic impact study reports. You are required to have: - Minimum 6+ years of experience in Traffic Designing or related fields, demonstrating a deep understanding of industry dynamics and practices. - Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications: - B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering & M.E/M.Tech. in Transportation Engineering. - Experience: 6 to 12 years, preferably with international working experience in Gulf, UK, US, etc. Please note that only candidates meeting the specified requirements will be contacted for further consideration.
