Engineer - Stormwater Drainage

As an Engineer specializing in Stormwater Drainage at AECOM's Enterprise Capabilities team in Bengaluru, you will play a crucial role in contributing to engineering design assignments on large-scale project teams. Your focus will be on utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D knowledge from concept to completion. You will participate in the development of engineering drawings and plans, integrating hydraulic and engineering aspects of projects, and showcasing expertise in various drainage-related areas. Your key responsibilities will include: - Contributing to engineering design assignments in a team environment on large-scale project teams, with exposure to projects outside India in regions like the UK, USA, Canada, and ANZ Region. - Utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D knowledge in projects from concept to completion, including the development of engineering drawings and plans. - Bringing together hydraulic modelling (1D-2D) and engineering aspects of the project, with a deep understanding of Drainage principles, 3D Modelling, Hydraulic Modelling, and SuDS feature design. - Working on various areas such as Highway Drainage, Track Drainage, Urban Drainage, Land Development, Cross Drainage Structures, and Hydraulic & Hydrological modeling. - Showcasing expertise in software tools like InfoDrainage, MicroDrainage, 12D, PCSWMM, and more. - Being familiar with GIS Packages like ArcGIS, MapInfo, and Autodesk Products such as Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and Storm and Sanitary Analysis. - Demonstrating understanding of Hydrological and Hydraulic concepts, FSR, FEH and IDF Rainfall Curves, and Runoff estimation methodologies. - Having experience working with UK DMRB standards and in Common Data Environment. Qualifications required: - Masters in Civil, preferably in areas like Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or Hydrology & Hydraulics. - Professional Qualification such as C.Eng. (ICE) or C.Eng. (IET) or C.CIWEM would be advantageous. - Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. - Capability to see the bigger picture of projects and work confidently either independently or collaboratively.,
