Collaboration with various teams to design system-level software solutions will be crucial in meeting performance requirements and interfaces. **Key Responsibilities:** - Spearheading the development and commercialization of the Qualcomm AI Runtime (QAIRT) SDK on Qualcomm SoCs - Pushing the limits of performance from large models and deploying large C/C++ software stacks using best practices - Staying updated on GenAI advancements, understanding LLMs/Transformers, and nuances of edge-based GenAI deployment - Utilizing power-efficient hardware and software stack to run Large Language Models (LLMs) and Large Vision Models (LVM) at near GPU speeds **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 4+ years of Software Engineering experience OR Master's degree with 3+ years OR PhD with 2+ years - 2+ years of experience with Programming Languages like C, C++, Java, Python - Masters/Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent - 14+ years of relevant work experience in software development - Strong understanding of Generative AI models such as LLM, LVM, LMMs and their building blocks - Experience with optimizing algorithms for AI hardware accelerators (CPU/GPU/NPU) - Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming, Design Patterns, OS concepts, and scripting skills in Python - Excellent analytical and debugging skills - Good communication skills (verbal, presentation, written) - Ability to collaborate across a globally diverse team and multiple interests This role at Qualcomm India Private Limited offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and be part of a dynamic team that is focused on integrating GenAI models on Qualcomm chipsets.
