Engineer Senior, Application System Development

Role Overview: As a Senior Engineer in Application System Development, your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain applications both independently and collaboratively within a team. You will need to prioritize projects, adhere to project schedules, and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks. Additionally, you will be expected to drive process improvements to enhance system quality and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain applications both independently and in collaboration with a team. - Ensure the quality and security of assigned development tasks by implementing best design and development practices. - Work according to project priorities and schedules to meet project deadlines. - Adhere to agile methodologies and project management practices. - Assist in technical and project risk management, as well as participate in mitigation activities. - Engage with the team to address daily development tasks and challenges. - Provide functional and technical support and guidance to junior developers. - Drive process improvements to enhance system quality and efficiency. - Attend project meetings, discussions, and other sprint meetings. Qualifications: - Proficient in application development using HTML5, CSS3, and angular programming languages. - Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 3 years with a Master's degree, or a PhD without experience, or equivalent work experience. - Experience in creating application UI using frameworks like Angular JS or Angular Materials. - Strong knowledge of design patterns and application architecture. - Experience using SOLID principles. - Ability to write unit test cases using Jasmine/Jest and E2E test cases using Protractor, as well as create tool scripts. - Experience in developing and implementing interfaces for applications using web sockets. - Familiarity with complete software development life cycle. - Strong experience in executing projects with agile methodologies. - Experience in mentoring junior team members. - Excellent verbal communication and articulation skills. - A positive team player with a proactive mindset and self-drive. - Exposure to interfacing with different stakeholders and participating in design discussions. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Hands-on experience in frameworks like NRWL is a plus. - Knowledge in the audio domain and related frameworks is desirable. - Experience working in a multi-geography team environment. - Proficiency in IDEs like Web Storm, Visual Studio Code, etc. - Familiarity with project management tools like Jira, Contour, Confluence, and configuration management systems like Git or SVN.
