The Test Engineer will take the lead in the development of manufacturing test processes from the New Product Introduction (NPI) stage to End-of-Life (EOL) to ensure they adhere to the highest quality standards in the industry. By closely collaborating with various test organizations, you will be responsible for ensuring a cohesive strategy that encompasses design verification, compliance, reliability, and system verification, thus ensuring Enphase products meet the required standards. Your role will involve comprehending the underlying technology, aligning with the diverse needs of different groups, and coordinating the development of a versatile test framework that can be universally applied across manufacturing test hardware and software at Enphase's production facilities. Given the extensive warranty periods of Enphase products, our manufacturing processes and tests must uphold the requisite quality standards, resulting in distinctive product features, well-structured manufacturing processes, and thorough testing protocols. **Responsibilities:** - Collaborating with geographically dispersed teams comprising Electronics Hardware Engineers, Software Engineers, and Engineering Technicians - Assessing Marketing and Engineering Requirement Documents to formulate robust Test Requirements that promote reliability while optimizing test costs - Understanding relevant standards for each product and devising test platforms for the implementation of mandatory tests - Developing and documenting test system design and maintenance protocols, including calibration, replacement schedules, repeatability tests, etc. - Working closely with the Manufacturing Software Development Team to design and ensure a fault-tolerant test system - Supporting, debugging, and maintaining the production facilities where the test systems are deployed - Addressing factory and field failures (RMA) promptly by identifying test gaps and enhancement opportunities **Skills Required:** - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Systems Engineering, or equivalent educational or work experience - Over 3 years of experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining test equipment and fixtures for a production environment - Demonstrated experience in leading testing teams for developing test platforms - Proficiency in Python programming and utilization of SVN tools (Mercurial or Git) - Knowledge of databases (SQL or similar) - Expertise in power electronics - Extensive familiarity with rack and stack test platforms (ATE) - Understanding of battery chemistry and EV technology is advantageous - Excellent verbal and written communication abilities,
