Engineer II - BIM

As an Engineer II - BIM at Illumine-i, your role is to provide modeling support throughout the design phase and be a part of the global support team that Digitalizes - Everything. You can expect the following responsibilities: - Prepare Architecture / Structural and MEP BIM models and construction drawings. - Review Architects / Structural or MEP engineers designs to aid in the development of BIM models and design documents. Review manufacturers or fabricators prints to aid in the development of BIM models and design documents. - Perform tasks such as verification of BIM model integrity, clash detection coordination meetings, and coordinate collaboration with other disciplines. - Perform walkthroughs of models using Revit for project stakeholders and provide general conceptual input to projects during the planning stages. - Communicate regularly with other disciplines, trade partners, clients, and project engineers to support project production. - Seek out opportunities to contribute to the business success through proactive involvement in team initiatives. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Civil / Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field is usually required. - Minimum of 7+ years work-specific Architectural/Structural/MEP discipline Modeling, Coordination, and Clash Resolution experience for all Architectural or Structural Services. - Strong experience in Revit is a must-have. - Hands-on experience in developing the various stages of the Drawings. - Good knowledge to understand Schematic, Single Line Diagrams, and IFC to develop BIM Models using Autodesk Revit. - Detailed understanding of a project's various stages, scopes, and deliverables. - Knowledge of the coordination of all MEP services with respect to Architecture, Structure, and Inter-Disciplinary MEP services. - Clash Detection using Autodesk Navisworks and preparing RFIs regarding Clash or Coordination issues. - Minimum knowledge of all MEP services design. - Understanding the Legends for various disciplines of MEP services. - Engineering sensitivity.
