Engineer

Job Title: Civil Design Engineer - Site-Based

• Act as the

  primary design point-of-contact at site

  , liaising between the

  client, site execution teams, and head office design team

  .
• Review and validate detailed civil designs and drawings for

  irrigation canals, water conveyance systems, pipelines, pumping stations

  , and associated infrastructure.
• Coordinate with the client to obtain design approvals and incorporate comments/feedback in a timely manner.
• Ensure that all

  designs are aligned with contract specifications

  , industry codes, and local regulations.
• Monitor

  design implementation on-site

  and support construction teams with necessary technical clarifications and drawing interpretations.
• Collaborate with survey, geotechnical, and structural teams to finalize layouts and foundation details.
• Ensure that

  As-Built Drawings (ABDs)

  and design documentation are maintained and submitted as per project requirements.
• Participate in

  design review meetings, technical discussions, and progress reviews

  with internal and client stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

• Minimum

  4 years of experience in design and coordination roles

  for water/irrigation projects (preferably with EPC contractors or engineering consultants).
• Strong knowledge of

  hydraulic structures

  , canal design, pipeline systems, and associated civil works.
• Proficiency in design software like

  AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD Pro

  , or other relevant tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to be stationed at

  project site

  for extended periods and travel as required.

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience working on

  major irrigation or water infrastructure projects

  in India.
• Exposure to

  design-build/EPC contracts

  .
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines under pressure.
