Description
As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Aptean, your role will involve leading the evolution of DevOps practices and infrastructure to drive improvements in speed, reliability, and automation across the platform. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and operations teams to streamline deployments, reduce manual work, and enhance observability. Additionally, you will play a crucial part in evaluating emerging technologies to optimize engineering workflows and operational efficiency. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and implement CI/CD pipelines utilizing Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and GitOps principles - Define and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code practices for reproducibility, automation, and version control - Take ownership of production-grade Kubernetes environments across multiple workloads - Drive deployment automation and reliability for both Windows and Linux systems - Establish and maintain end-to-end observability using tools like OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, and related telemetry stacks - Collaborate cross-functionally in an agile environment to support product delivery and platform scalability - Advocate for cloud-native and security-first practices throughout the engineering organization **Qualifications Required:** - 5+ years of experience in DevOps or infrastructure engineering within a cloud-native SaaS environment - Proficiency in Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps, and GitHub platforms for CI/CD and infrastructure automation - Hands-on expertise in managing and optimizing Kubernetes clusters - Strong understanding of modern observability practices and tools such as OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana - Experience with infrastructure automation using Terraform and/or Bicep - Knowledge of deployment pipelines, operational resilience, and systems design - Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate efficiently across teams At Aptean, you will have the opportunity to grow your career in a fast-paced, flexible, and casual environment.
