Job Description

As an Engineer, Cybersecurity Architecture at Magna, you will play a crucial role in the Information Security Risk and Compliance (ISRC) group by assisting with general technical and compliance tasks. Your responsibilities will include basic maintenance of computing systems, analysis of Firewall policies, overseeing security settings in Cloud platforms, staying updated on security trends, and providing feedback to enhance Magna's enterprise security. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct basic maintenance of computing systems utilized by the group - Analyze Firewall policies and overall security information - Assist in overseeing security settings in Cloud platforms - Stay informed about security trends, solutions, processes, attacks, and threat-vectors - Provide constructive feedback to enhance Magna's enterprise security Qualifications Required: - College degree or equivalent work experience - Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, PHP - Knowledge of security settings in Cloud platforms - Understanding of networking basics, cybersecurity frameworks, regulations, Firewall Policies, Configurations, Database concepts, and integration with APIs In this role, effective communication in English, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience in working within a diverse global team, ability to prioritize tasks efficiently, and self-motivation are essential. You will primarily work in a typical office environment with occasional on-call availability and evening/weekend work to meet deadlines. Your contributions will be integral to maintaining and enhancing Magna's cybersecurity posture in the ever-evolving technological landscape.,
