Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks and scripts specifically for API-level testing. - Validate and verify complex Machine Learning applications, ensuring accurate performance of models and data pipelines in production environments. - Conduct extensive testing on large-scale data engineering pipelines, including ETL processes, data warehousing solutions, and big data processing frameworks. - Identify, document, and track software defects, collaborating with developers and product teams for resolution. - Execute load and performance testing on APIs and data pipelines to ensure scalability and efficiency. - Collaborate with data engineers, ML engineers, software developers, and product teams to define comprehensive test strategies. - Participate actively in agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields. - 3+ years of hands-on experience in automation testing, particularly focused on API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar. - Experience with automation frameworks such as Cucumber/Karate for API automation and selenium/cypress for web automation. - Demonstrable experience in testing Machine Learning applications, including model validation, accuracy assessments, and production-readiness. - Proven expertise in testing large-scale data engineering pipelines involving technologies like Apache Spark, Hadoop, AWS EMR, Kafka, or similar. - Strong scripting/programming skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript. - Familiarity with containerization and CI/CD tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD). - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strong attention to detail. - Effective communication skills and the ability to clearly document test cases, defects, and technical findings.
