Job Description

. Responsible for planning and designing new software and web applications. Analyzes, tests and assists with the integration of new applications. Oversees the documentation of all development activity. Trains non-technical personnel. Assists with tracking performance metrics. Integrates knowledge of business and functional priorities. Acts as a key contributor in a complex and crucial environment. May lead teams or projects and shares expertise. Job Description Bachelor s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or related discipline; 8+ years experience. ( Database Architect ) Experience working with, setting up and optimizing a relational database (MySQL, Postgres, etc. ), including software development skills related to database management optimization. Experience with no-sql databases is also beneficial. Ability to program (structured and/or OOP) using one or more language, such as Python, Golang, C/C++, Java, Bash, etc. ; coding experience beyond simple scripts is plus Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm is plus Experience working with observability tools such as Elasticsearch, Grafana, Prometheus and Clickhouse is plus Experience developing and utilizing REST APIs, CI/CD tooling such as Spinnaker, Terraform, and Concourse is plus Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment, with two-week sprints and bi-monthly reviews and planning sessions. Primary: Postgres SQL Should have worked in Migration Projects Education Bachelors Degree While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience. Certifications (if applicable) Relevant Work Experience 7-10 Years
