Ltd., a leading name in solar EPC execution for industrial & commercial projects. Business Development Manager – Solar Projects 📍 Location: Perumbakkam, Chennai 🏢 Company: Enfros India Solutions Pvt. Ltd. 💼 Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent 💰 Annual Package: 6 LPA – 7 LPA Key Responsibilities: • Identify and generate new business leads from Industrial & Commercial (C&I) clients interested in procuring Renewable Energy (RE) power or setting up captive/ground-mounted solar power plants. • Drive business development for solar EPC projects, including both electrical and civil construction components. • Demonstrate strong knowledge of Open Access Regulations and RE policies across various states in India for power sale and captive consumption. • Responsible for achieving sales revenue, margin targets, and business growth every quarter. • Conduct market research and competitor analysis and identify emerging opportunities in industrial, commercial, steel, cement, mining, and port sectors. • Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to tap new market segments and expand business reach. • Manage the entire sales cycle — from lead generation, RFP/RFQ analysis, proposal preparation, techno-commercial negotiations, and order finalization to project handover. • Establish and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and customer service. • Manage dealers, channel partners, and vendors with structured monitoring mechanisms such as daily prospect sheets and weekly/monthly performance reviews. • Work on digital marketing strategies and web campaigns to enhance brand visibility and lead generation. • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop collaterals, advertisements, and promotional content for exhibitions, events, and client outreach. • Ensure accurate documentation and timely reporting of all business development activities, feedback, and client communications. • Handle techno-commercial proposals, including pricing, terms, and contractual negotiations in line with company policies. • Participate in industry fairs, exhibitions, and conferences to promote company services and explore business alliances. • Coordinate closely with the project, design, and engineering teams to ensure project feasibility and timely execution. • Demonstrate a high sense of accountability, professional ethics, and ownership toward achieving business objectives. • Must be open to extensive travel for client meetings, site visits, and market development activities. Qualifications & Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical/Civil/Mechanical) or equivalent. MBA in Marketing / Energy Management preferred. • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in business development/sales in solar EPC/renewable energy/industrial construction. • Strong understanding of Solar EPC, civil works, and regulatory framework for open access, Captive, and rooftop projects. • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and fluent Hindi speaking skills. • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and online marketing platforms.
