Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in Jaipur for a Senior Design Engineer - Solar Power Projects. The Senior Design Engineer will be responsible for the design and engineering of solar power projects. Daily tasks include developing detailed project designs, coordinating with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards, using CAD software for design, and overseeing mechanical and electrical engineering aspects of project development and execution. Qualifications The ideal candidate should hold a B.E./B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Systems, with 7–8 years of relevant experience in solar EPC or design consultancy. Proficiency in key tools such as ETAP, PowerFactory, AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, and MS Excel is essential. The role requires hands-on expertise in substation design (up to 132 kV), SCADA integration, and relay coordination. Candidates should be well-versed in regulatory frameworks including CEIG, DISCOM, IS, IEC, and CEA norms, and capable of preparing DPRs, feasibility reports, and statutory submissions. Strong engineering fundamentals, attention to detail, effective coordination, and the ability to manage project timelines and interdisciplinary dependencies are critical to success in this role.
