Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Solar Project Manager based in Patna, with some work from home admissible. The Solar Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of solar projects, including expediting tasks and logistics management. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with expeditors and inspectors, managing project timelines, ensuring quality control, and maintaining client relationships. The role also involves handling logistical aspects to facilitate smooth project operations. Qualifications Project Management skills, including the ability to manage timelines and project deliverables Experience with Expediting and Expeditor coordination Inspection and quality control skills to ensure project standards Logistics Management skills to oversee transportation, inventory, and supply chain aspects Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Relevant experience in the renewable energy or solar industry is a plus Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field Familiarity with technical software such as PVsyst, AutoCAD, and MS Project. Understanding of electrical engineering concepts, safety standards, and grid interconnection. Project Execution & Construction Supervise on-site installation, ensuring adherence to engineering standards and safety regulations. Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and suppliers for smooth execution. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions. Conduct quality inspections and ensure proper installation and commissioning. Project Completion & Handover Perform system testing and commissioning to ensure functionality and grid compliance. Prepare project documentation, including operation & maintenance manuals. Train clients on system operations and maintenance procedures. Conduct post-project evaluation and report lessons learned.
