What You’ll Do at Energeia - This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Sales Manager - Energy Efficiency Responsibilities: Identify and prospect potential clients within the large industrial and commercial sector, including manufacturing plants, hotels, tech parks and other relevant facilities. Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for business expansion. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target organizations, leveraging these connections to generate new business opportunities. Develop and manage the funnel for all Energy Efficiency sales in the region. Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics to achieve revenue targets and maximize market penetration. Build and negotiate contracting terms for Energy Performance Contracts with prospective clients. Collaborate closely with the marketing team to create compelling sales collateral, presentations, and proposals that effectively communicate our value proposition. Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to increase brand awareness and establish industry presence. Monitor and analyze market conditions, industry developments, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and adjust business development strategies accordingly. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and technical departments, to ensure seamless project implementation and customer satisfaction. Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts, providing accurate and timely updates to senior management. Meet the sales targets set collaboratively by your team. Key Result Areas (KRAs): Revenue Generation: Achieve or exceed assigned revenue targets by effectively identifying and closing new business opportunities. Market Expansion: Identify and penetrate new markets within the large industrial and commercial sector, ensuring sustainable business growth. Sales Strategy Development: Contribute to the development of sales strategies and tactics that align with company objectives and market dynamics. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field. MBA preferred but not required. Proven track record of success in business development or sales, preferably within the energy efficiency industry or related sectors. Strong business acumen with the ability to understand complex customer requirements and tailor solutions accordingly. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and self-motivated approach.
