Job Summary: We seek a skilled IT Support Specialist to manage and maintain our organization's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience with VMware, Active Directory, Office 365, internal networks, security protocols, firewalls, operating system installations, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), SIP phone systems, FortiGate firewalls, Windows patching, ManageEngine, and McAfee security solutions. This role requires a proactive individual capable of troubleshooting complex issues and ensuring the seamless operation of all IT systems. Key Responsibilities: VMware Management: Install, configure, and maintain VMware virtualization environments. Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of virtual machines. Perform regular backups and disaster recovery operations. Active Directory Administration: Manage user accounts, groups, and organizational units. Implement and maintain Group Policies. Ensure directory replication and domain controller health. Office 365 Support: Administer Office 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams. Monitor and manage licenses and subscriptions. Network and Security Management: Maintain and troubleshoot internal network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and wireless access points. Implement and monitor security protocols to protect against unauthorized access and threats. Manage and configure firewalls, particularly FortiGate devices. Operating System Installation and Maintenance: Install, configure, and update Windows and other operating systems. Apply regular patches and updates to ensure system security and stability. Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Management: Deploy and manage resources within the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Monitor performance and optimize cloud resources. Ensure secure access and data protection within the cloud environment. SIP Phone System Administration: Configure and maintain SIP-based phone systems. Troubleshot call quality and connectivity issues. Manage user extensions and voicemail configurations. Windows Patching and ManageEngine: Utilize ManageEngine to deploy Windows updates and patches. Monitor patch compliance and health system. Generate reports on patch status and vulnerabilities. McAfee Security Solutions Management: Implement and manage McAfee endpoint protection solutions. Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents promptly. Conduct regular security assessments and audits. Proprietary Cable Manufacturing and Soldering: Design, develop, and oversee the production of custom cable assemblies tailored to organizational needs. Perform precise soldering tasks to assemble and repair electronic components within proprietary cables, ensuring strong and reliable connections. Collaborate with internal teams to determine cable specifications and requirements. Ensure quality control and compliance with industry standards in cable manufacturing and soldering processes. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or a similar role. Proficiency in managing VMware environments and virtual machines. Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy management. Experience with Office 365 administration and support. Solid understanding of network protocols, configurations, and security practices. Familiarity with FortiGate firewalls and their configuration. Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) management. Experience with SIP phone systems and VoIP technologies. Proficiency in Windows operating systems and patch management. Experience using ManageEngine for IT operations. Familiarity with McAfee security products and endpoint protection. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
