As the General Manager - Operations, you will play a crucial role in strengthening the manufacturing operations of our client's company. We are looking for candidates with a background in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Industrial Engineering (MBA in Operations preferred) and a minimum of 15+ years of experience in EMS/ODM manufacturing, particularly in Kitchen Appliances, Consumer Electronics, or Mobile Accessories industries. Your responsibilities will include overseeing end-to-end production processes across all product categories to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery. You will be required to implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 5S methodologies to enhance operational efficiency and drive automation and process optimization to reduce wastage and improve production flow. Collaboration with procurement teams to maintain optimal stock levels, develop supplier management strategies, monitor inventory levels, and implement material loss control measures will be essential for effective supply chain and inventory management. Additionally, you will need to ensure strict adherence to industry standards, quality initiatives, and regulatory compliance to maintain product excellence. Leading production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams to align with organizational goals, mentorship of mid-level managers, and collaboration with cross-functional teams such as R&D, design, and marketing will be part of your role. You will also be responsible for implementing cost reduction strategies, developing operational budgets, and ensuring financial discipline across manufacturing units. Your technical expertise should include a strong understanding of assembly processes, proficiency in ERP and lean manufacturing principles, and comprehensive knowledge of compliance requirements. Strong leadership, interpersonal, team-building, and problem-solving skills are essential to lead large manufacturing teams, drive operational excellence, troubleshoot challenges effectively, and implement continuous improvement strategies for long-term sustainability.
