Job Summary: The Service Engineer will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Laser Marking and Dot Printing Machines at customer sites. The role requires a strong technical background, hands-on experience with electromechanical systems, and a customer-oriented approach. Key Responsibilities: Installation & Commissioning: Perform installation and setup of laser marking and dot peen marking machines. Ensure proper calibration and performance verification after installation. Service & Maintenance: Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance as per service schedules. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software-related issues. Replace faulty components and ensure machine uptime. Customer Support: Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers. Train customers on machine operation, maintenance, and safety practices. Maintain positive relationships and ensure high customer satisfaction. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain service reports, installation checklists, and maintenance logs. Report recurring issues or potential product improvements to the technical team. Coordination: Collaborate with sales and production teams for technical support. Coordinate with vendors or OEMs for spares and technical assistance. Qualifications & Skills: Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Instrumentation Engineering. Experience: 1–5 years of experience in servicing industrial automation, laser marking, or printing machines. Technical Skills: Knowledge of laser marking systems, galvo heads, and fiber laser sources. Familiarity with dot peen marking systems, pneumatic/electromagnetic components. Understanding of PLCs, motion control, and software interfaces. Ability to read and interpret electrical/mechanical schematics. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls. Willingness to travel extensively.
