Job Description

Responsibilities

Assess, triage, and prioritize patient care efficiently in a fast-paced emergency environment.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to formulate and implement patient care plans.

Administer medications, treatments, and procedures while monitoring patient responses and documenting all care provided.

Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families during crises.

Quickly and accurately document patient history, vital signs, and other necessary information.

Participate in emergency drills and ongoing training to maintain up-to-date skills and knowledge.

Adhere to hospital policies, protocols, and safety standards to ensure optimal patient care.
Required Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.

Completion of an accredited nursing program; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.

Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).

Prior experience in an emergency or critical care setting is highly desirable.

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
